So many people want better-looking skin and aren’t sure where to start. Skincare is #1, but that’s another blog! When we look at in-office treatments, the choices may feel overwhelming, but good news: there is not really a wrong choice.

Microneedling vs. Lasers

Lasers are used to treat skin pigmentation, redness, enlarged pores, acne, scars, and overall rejuvenation. There are different lasers for different skin types and needs, but a consultation with an aesthetic skincare professional can guide you to the best one for you. Some of our lasers can be used on all skin types and treatments done at any time of the year.

Microneedling is another option for rejuvenation. It is a minimal downtime procedure that can give you tightening, soften fine lines and wrinkles, and improve pigmentation. It is particularly good at treating acne scars and can be used on darker skin types. It can be done any time of year with a couple of days of mild redness and peeling. When doing either of these treatments, a series of 3 is usually ideal and gives the maximum benefit. Both procedures can be as little as 30 minutes, and the results seen in days to weeks.
